Features
Safety you can talk to.
Two-Way Calls
Its own 4G SIM with voice. Call the watch, and the wearer can call the family numbers saved on it. Calls are limited to that list. There is no listen-in.
An SOS That Calls
Hold the side key for three seconds. Live location goes to your contacts, and the watch dials up to three emergency numbers in turn until someone answers.
Live GPS Tracking
GPS and BeiDou outdoors, with Wi-Fi and mobile-cell positioning as fallback indoors. Position reports on a schedule you set from the app.
Fall Detection
Three sensitivity levels. A fall is reported with a confidence score and triggers an SOS if it is not dismissed.
Heart Rate and SpO2
The optical sensor on the case back reads heart rate and blood oxygen on demand from the app; scheduled readings arrive with the India firmware. Readings appear in the family app.
A Screen You Can Read
A round colour touch screen that shows the time, the date and the steps at arm’s length, with two side keys for SOS and wake.
Days, Not Hours
An 800 mAh battery. The maker rates it at about four days on ten-minute reporting. We will publish our own figure once field testing is done.
Watch-Removed Alerts
If the watch comes off the wrist, your family is told, so you know rather than guess.

Plain facts
What the Kavach Watch does, and what it does not.
The watch is on our own server and on a wrist every day. This block says what it does now, what it does not, and which figures are still the maker's rather than ours.
What it does
- Round 4G watch with VoLTE two-way calls, limited to the numbers saved on it. No stranger can call it.
- SOS on a three-second hold of the side key: location goes to the family and the watch dials the emergency numbers in turn.
- Positions by GPS and BeiDou outdoors, with WiFi and mobile-cell positioning as fallback.
- Heart rate and blood oxygen on demand from the app. Scheduled readings arrive with the India firmware.
- Fall detection is a maker feature with three sensitivity levels; our own verification is in progress.
- Raise to wake, so the time shows without a key press.
- Works without a phone and never pairs with one.
What it does not do
- No body temperature sensor.
- No scheduled heart-rate readings yet. Readings are on demand until the India firmware ships.
- No WhatsApp or other third-party apps on the watch. Family messages arrive through the Kavach platform.
- No listen-in and no recording. Calls are two-way or nothing.
- No SMS or WhatsApp alerts yet. Alerts are push notification and email today.
- No service outside India.
Measured by us, or the maker's figure
