Their safety is in your hands.

Kavach launches at the Nashik Simhastha Kumbh Mela. We are not naming a date yet, because the date should follow the certification and the hardware rather than the other way round. Early registrations get priority, and registering costs nothing.

No. Kavach has its own 4G connection and GPS, with the SIM already fitted. It works completely independently. The companion app adds extra features like geofencing and history, but is not required for SOS alerts.

Pick up a band at any Kavach booth, pay the rental fee + refundable deposit (₹2,000). Use it for your stay. Return the band at any booth and get your full deposit back.

Kavach offers 3 tiers: Basic (free forever, SOS always works), Safety Plan (₹149/month or ₹1,299/year for real-time GPS, geo-fencing, 7-day history; SOS and fall alerts are free on every tier), and Family Plan (₹249/month or ₹2,199/year for up to 8 bands, 30-day history, health monitoring, priority support). Every purchased band includes 3 months free Safety Plan.

Yes. If Kavach does not ship by the promised date, you get a full refund. After receiving the band, you have a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, no questions asked.

It is sealed and charges magnetically, so there are no exposed ports. Safe for rain, river ghats, and handwashing.

Kavach launches in three colours: Onyx Black, Sunset Orange, and Sky Blue. More band colours and premium materials will follow post-launch.

GPS outdoors, with WiFi and mobile-cell positioning as fallback where the sky is blocked. There is no A-GPS, so a cold outdoor fix takes two to three minutes, and an approximate position appears immediately while it settles. At large events we plan to place fixed BLE beacons at key points to sharpen positioning in crowds.
