Kavach Band

A slim 28g wristband with built-in GPS, its own 4G connection, one-touch SOS and fall detection. It works completely without a phone, because the people who need it most often do not carry one.

Everything you need. Nothing you don't.

One-Touch SOS

Press and hold the button for three seconds. Live location goes to your contacts and keeps updating until they respond. Works without a phone.

Live GPS Tracking

GPS outdoors, with WiFi and mobile-cell positioning as fallback. Your first outdoor fix takes two to three minutes; an approximate position shows immediately.

Fall Detection

The band reports a fall and triggers an SOS if it is not dismissed within 30 seconds.

All-Day Battery

Up to 24 hours on a charge. Around 10 hours with GPS reporting every 10 minutes, and about 4 hours of continuous live tracking. Charge it daily, the way you charge a phone.

Its Own 4G Connection

LTE Cat.1 with a SIM already fitted. The band connects to the mobile network by itself, with no phone and no pairing.

Built For Daily Wear

Sealed silicone body with no exposed charging port. Rain and handwashing are fine. We do not yet publish an immersion rating.

Kavach Care App

Live map, family groups, safe zones, route history. Hindi and English. Free on the App Store and Google Play.

Band-Removed Alerts

If the band comes off the wrist, your family is told. The band pauses reporting while it is off, so you know rather than guess.

Plain facts

What the Kavach Band does, and what it does not.

Everything on this page is true of the band we ship, not of a band we might build later. If a line is the maker's figure rather than ours, it says so.

What it does

  • Carries its own 4G SIM, fitted and managed by us. You never buy or recharge a SIM.
  • Positions by GPS outdoors, with WiFi and mobile-cell positioning as fallback indoors.
  • Sends an SOS when the button is pressed and held for three seconds. Alerts reach every emergency contact by push notification and email.
  • Reports a fall. Fall detection has been tested in our own trials; it is not certified.
  • Tells the family when the band comes off the wrist.
  • Shrugs off rain, sweat and handwashing. Take it off before bathing or swimming.
  • Works without a phone. The wearer carries nothing else and learns nothing new.

What it does not do

  • No speaker and no microphone, so no calls and no voice. The Kavach Watch carries voice.
  • No screen content you can change. The display shows time and status only.
  • No SMS or WhatsApp alerts yet. Alerts are push notification and email today; SMS and WhatsApp follow once operator approvals are in.
  • No service outside India. The SIM and the network agreements are Indian.
  • No immersion rating yet, so no bathing, no swimming.
