You can delete your Kavach account and the personal data tied to it at any time, from inside the app or by asking us here. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Delete from the app (fastest)
- Open the Kavach app and sign in.
- Go to Settings, scroll to the bottom, and tap "Delete account".
- Confirm twice. You are signed out immediately and the deletion is complete.
If you are the only owner of a family account that still has other members, remove them first or ask us to transfer ownership.
What is deleted
- Your name, email address, password and sign-in sessions
- Push notification tokens for your phone
- If you are the last member of your family account: the account itself, your safe zones, SOS contact numbers, wearer profiles and alert rules, and your bands are unclaimed
What is kept, and why
- Location and health readings stay attached to the band hardware, not to any person, so a band can be re-registered by a new owner. They are not linked to your identity after deletion.
- Order and invoice records, which Indian tax law requires us to retain for 8 years.

Enter the email address on your Kavach account. We verify the request by replying to that address and complete the deletion within 7 days.
